Core Experience Design team operation
ColorOS is a customized system developed by OPPO, based on Android, it updates every year following Android release.
When OnePlus merged into OPPO in 2022, I moved to Shenzhen,
and transition into a new role. OPPO’s software design department has divided into three big design teams-feature design team;platform design team & user research team. Feature design team looks after ColorOS software design experience. Inside it, there were three groups work on different features. I was responsible for core experience and privacy design group.
As a design manager, I ensure design concepts and deliveries meet the high standards, which includes new device design; big version updates concept design, academic partnership, as well as team development, empower designers to do great work and create a thriving team culture.
